The Seminole 100 Celebration will be held at Florida State University on Saturday, February 22, 2020.

Congratulations to School of Dance BFA 00′ alumna, Sara Dimmick, for being selected for The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship 2020 Seminole 100 list of the fastest-growing businesses owned by Florida State University alumni. Dimmick is the founder and co-partner of Physical Equilibrium.

The education and experience I received during my time at FSU within the CFA’s School of Dance laid the foundation for Physical Equilibrium. Even though I’m not a performing artist anymore, I decided to build a business around fitness and athletics. Everyday I’m working with others to teach them about their bodies, instill healthy habits, demonstrate proper movement form, and educate them about injury prevention and rehab. Running a successful business is an art and science which I’m constantly balancing between client experiences, employee management, and behind the scenes tasks like paying bills and thinking about growth in the future.

Seminole 100

Alumni from Florida State University are responsible for some of the most innovative and profitable businesses in the world. The Jim Moran Institute For Global Entrepreneurship at the FSU College of Business, in partnership with the FSU Alumni Association and EY, is proud to recognize incredible entrepreneurs through the Seminole 100 awards program.

Seminole 100 recognizes the 100 fastest-growing FSU alumni-owned or alumni-led businesses at a celebration on FSU’s campus each year. The companies then learn their numerical rankings and receive their awards. This event honors FSU’s entrepreneurs and allows them to share valuable business insights with each other. Honorees and their businesses will also receive increased publicity and visibility via national, local and industry media exposure.
