Due to the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus Ms. Suzanne Farrell has been advised not to travel during this period. As such, she is unable to attend this weekend’s Workshop for Young Dancers. Ms. Farrell was very much looking forward to being here and working with the dancers.
This weekend’s classes, workshops and audition will be held and SoD is happy to share that ballet guest artists and teachers Tyrone Brooks, current Artistic Director of Tallahassee Ballet Company and former principal dancer with the internationally recognized Dance Theatre of Harlem; FSU Associate Professor Ilana Goldman , former principal dancer with Oakland Ballet and Sacramento Ballet; and FSU Assistant Professor Caleb Mitchell, former soloist with Houston Ballet will join our teaching faculty. Each of these artists have performed works by George Balanchine, Glen Tetley, and many other iconic ballet figures.
We do look forward to seeing you this weekend. Should you have any questions contact Dr. LaToya Davis-Craig at firstname.lastname@example.org.
