Deca Dance Batsheva- The Young Ensemble

The dancers of Batsheva’s Young Ensemble have extraordinary potential. Although their performance quality did not seem as finely tuned and mature as that of the dancers in the main company, the virtuosity in the young talent on the stage became overwhelmingly obvious as the performance continued throughout the afternoon. The dancers brought power, creativity, and quirkiness to the stage. The opening soloist did a phenomenal job, transfixing the audience with his mix of over-the-top dancey-dance tricks and entrancingly subtle muscular vibrations.
