Step 4 : Come to the in-person audition

The graduate audition for Fall 2027 enrollment will be held January 22nd–23rd, 2027.

The first day is designed for us to show you who we are and what we do. Activities include tea with the Chair of the School, strolls through campus with our faculty, lunch with current students, class observations, and watching a special performance. While this first day is not mandatory, it is highly recommended. It’s your chance to see the School of Dance in action and to vision what life will be like as a graduate student here.

The second day is your chance to show us who you are and what you do. Activities include participating in a technique class, showing a dance solo, interviewing with the faculty, making an impromptu creative work, and providing a teaching demonstration within your area of focus. Don’t worry. We’ll talk you through all these steps in advance so that you’re comfortable and prepared.
