Sudarat Songsiridej holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Juilliard School, a Master of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester, New York. Her early music education was under the guideline of the Trinity College of London which she completed the LTCL level in the performance segment.

As a staff pianist for the Department of Dance, College of Music and the School of Theatre, her responsibilities include: playing for dance and music theatre classes, juries and auditions; coaching music theatre students, playing the rehearsals and performances for the Fall musical, serving as an assistant music director/conductor for the spring musical and  assisting music theatre students in their senior project and New York showcase.

Some of Sudarat's past credits include appearing as a soloist with the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra as well as various solo concerts,  playing for dance classes for members of the Graham Company, the Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, the New Arts Festival, Fort Myers; composing and arranging music for choreographers: Joe Goode, Lynn Wimmer, Janet Sturman and Libby Patenaude; playing for Ann Reinking and the lyricist and composer team of Maltby and Shire; playing for Seaside Music Theatre as well as many local theatre and dance companies.  She also was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Music for Dance at the University of South Florida Department of Dance.
