nia love (Director, UNDERcurrents the Project) is a bi-costal New York-Florida based, Black Indigenous American -born choreographer whose work focuses on centering Black cultures through artmaking, collective community collaborative, facilitation as teacher and organizer, and trans-disciplinary visionary. She is deeply rooted in the practice of intersectionality, building artistic ecosystems with redemptive imagination. I create projects where land, water, community, and value, are at the foundation of practicing equity. A graduate of Howard University and Florida State University.
