Meagan Helman
Biography
Meagan Helman is an adjunct faculty member at Florida State University’s School of Dance and is the School Director for the Tallahassee Ballet. She performed professionally as a principal dancer with Ballet Theatre of Maryland in a broad repertoire of classical and contemporary works. Meagan also served as the company’s Ballet Mistress, as well as choreographing and teaching for both the company and school. Meagan holds a BA in Dance from Goucher College and graduated in May of 2017 with an MA in Dance from Florida State University. She is currently the photographer for the FSU’s School of Dance and the performance photographer for The Tallahassee Ballet. Her dance photographs have been published in Dance Magazine, Dance Studio Life, Dance Teacher Magazine, and the Tallahassee Democrat.
