DD Dorvillier – Panel Discussion: “Performance as Research”

Choreographer DD Dorvillier will explore the concept of performance as research and discuss the creation of a new work, Diary of an Image with FSU Theatre Studies faculty Dr. Daniel Sack.

Guggenheim and USA Fellow, Annie-B Parson discusses the history and theory of post-modern dance through the prism of science, nature, and commerce. Tere O’Connor – Lecture: Behind the Scenes Look at “Bleed”

Three-time Bessie award-winning artist, Guggenheim Fellow and 2013 Doris Duke Artist Award recipient, Tere O’Connor returns to FSU to discuss his summer MANCC residency and the making of Bleed. O’Connor’s company will perform poem and Sister, two of the three pieces that comprise Bleed at Seven Days of Opening nights in the Nancy Smith Fichter Dance Theatre on October 4, at 8:00pm.
