MFA Dance Showings: Waves of Change

Please join the School of Dance for Waves of Change, an MFA Showing. In this combined showcase, choreographers Mary Roberts and LaQuan Anderson invite audiences to experience the culmination of their research on the evenings of November 10th and 11th at 7:30pm, in partial fulfillment of their Masters of Fine Arts in Dance degrees at Florida State University’s School of Dance.

In the first piece of Waves of Change, choreographer Mary Roberts will be immersing audiences in her production 7 Short, 1 Long. “Ad Lucem” the final piece of Waves of Change, is LaQuan Anderson’s examination of metamorphosis when placed underneath the lens of sexuality that is outside the social norm.

Come join the FSU School of Dance in the celebration of these two incredible works at the Nancy Smith Fichter Theatre in Montgomery Hall, located on the FSU Campus at 7:30pm. Tickets for the performance are $8 for general admission and $5 for FSU students with ID. All seating is general admission.
