Logan Alan Castro

Specialized Music Staff
School of Dance

(407) 375-6307

Logan A. Castro (b.1992) graduated from the Florida State University College of Music in April, 2016 with a Master’s degree in Music Theory and Composition. With a portfolio ranging from 19th century-styled art-song to electronic dance music and contemporary chamber works, Mr. Castro prefers not to limit the presentation of music to the traditional symphonic stage. Rather, he sees his music as a naturally multimodal and interdisciplinary form, considerations that have inspired a number of collaborative works in his portfolio for presentation alongside dance and visual art. Most recently, he has signed on with the FSU School of Dance as Interim Faculty Accompanist and recording studio manager beginning in the Spring of 2017.
